Notes: Includes the basic pharmacy course. It is similar to the Diploma (DIHom) course but with greater emphasis on the pharmaceutical aspects of homeopathy. The course consists of 31 written lessons plus 2 mid-terms and a final exam. Designed for pharmacists, technicians and their assistants as a comprehensive study. Those wishing to go on to practice homeopathy are advised to take the postgraduate course. Equipment for the practical lesson is provided free of charge..

Syllabus : Includes the basic course syllabus, Avogadro limit in potencies, trituration, nomenclature, abbreviations, homeopathic prescriptions and dispensing, potencies: decimal, centesimal, millesimal and LM. Homeopathic Materia Medica, proprietary homeopathic medicines, international homeopathic pharmacopoeias, Bach Flower remedies, biochemic remedies (cell salts, tissue salts), Avogadro’s hypothesis and its implications in homeopathic pharmacy and nature of potencies. Over-the-counter prescribing, quality control procedures, current good manufacturing practice in homeopathy, homeopathic first aid, storage and care of homeopathic medicines, material specifications and stock potencies. Pharmaceutical forms in homeopathy, computerized homeopathy in the pharmacy, homeopathic prescribing in pharmacy practices, formulations, homeotherapeutics, case taking and repertorisation, homeopathic pharmacy research and practical homeopathic pharmacy, basic nutrition and herbology.
